About the Role:

This 12-month contract opportunity involves working in a frontline capacity providing second-line assurance across all maintenance and construction works at Sydney Airport.

You will conduct inspections and audits during both day and curfew periods to ensure compliance with our Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (SSEQ) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to verify contractor compliance with SSEQ requirements.
  • Monitor contractor adherence to WHS, quality, environmental, and security obligations.
  • Provide advice and coaching on risk controls and participate in workshops, toolbox talks, and pre-start briefings.
  • Evaluate contractor safety and quality management plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams, maintenance staff, and operations personnel.
  • Support return-to-service tasks after curfew periods.
  • Implement Sydney Airport's Critical Risk Program, including assurance processes.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in construction supervision or compliance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, QA systems, and risk management.
  • Skilled in incident response, inspections, and contractor engagement.
  • Familiarity with Australian construction standards and high-risk work frameworks.
