Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operations and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational processes, ensuring compliance with fund guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations:
    • Update systems for trades and cashflows, calculate NAV and P&L, reconcile cash/positions/trades with external parties, instruct cash payments, review administrator NAV packs for approval and release unit prices.
    • Review material and manage performance reporting requirements for investor statements and communications.
    • Calculate fund distributions, work with the auditor and fund administrator for the creation and audit of Financial Statements.
    • Assist in set-up requirements for new investors and funds, and evaluate new service providers.
  • Compliance:
    • Perform daily compliance checks against fund guidelines.
    • Prepare agenda and material for compliance committee meetings, monitor service providers, perform annual reviews of fund IMs and internal policies/procedures.
    • Manage regulatory and investor reporting requirements, assist in the creation of the annual internal controls report (GS007).
Requirements:
  • Accounting degree or similar qualification.
  • 5+ years' experience in fund operations, administration or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and processes.
  • Attention to detail, quick learning ability and solid communication skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, able to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
  • Australian permanent resident or work visa holder.
