About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team at our aged care service in Little Mountain. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of our grounds and outdoor facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, gardens, and outdoor areas through regular upkeep, including mowing, pruning, watering, and planting.
  • Evaluate and maintain pathways, driveways, and other hard surfaces to ensure they remain free from debris and hazards.
  • Monitor and manage waste disposal and recycling around the grounds.
  • Inspect and maintain outdoor facilities and equipment to guarantee safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

About You

This role requires someone who can work independently, complete general maintenance and gardening duties, and resolve issues as they arise. An ideal candidate would possess excellent communication and time management skills, along with a compassionate nature that enables building rapport with others easily.
