We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Churches of Christ, Little Mountain Residential Aged Care. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role

This role is critical in ensuring that the appearance and safety of our grounds and outdoor facilities are well-maintained. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, watering, and planting. You will also be expected to maintain pathways, driveways, and other hard surfaces, and to monitor and manage waste disposal and recycling around the grounds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the appearance and safety of our grounds and outdoor facilities
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, watering, and planting
  • Maintaining pathways, driveways, and other hard surfaces
  • Monitoring and managing waste disposal and recycling around the grounds

About You

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, with excellent communication and time management skills. You should have experience in groundskeeping, gardening, or a related field, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ideally, you will have a proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
