Cradle Mountain Hotel is nestled in the alpine woodlands at the northern end of the breathtaking Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park. This wonderful escape showcases the absolute best this region has to offer with warm and welcoming hospitality, sensational local food and wine, indulgent spa facilities and breathtaking scenery. Located approximately two hours from Launceston and four hours from Hobart, our 60 room hotel also incorporates the award-winning Altitude restaurant and stunning Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery.

**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the Group Maintenance Manager, with direction from the General Manager, you will support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience by leading the day-to-day activities of the property Handypersons and motivate your team to deliver high standard in property and facility maintenance.

A level of fitness is required to meet the physical demands of this role, as are a resilient and can-do attitude. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor, someone who shares our passion for hospitality and takes pride in the presentation of their workplace.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Minimum of 3 years related experience in hospitality maintenance role or a relevant field
- Well developed interpersonal and people management skills, including ability to interact with and influence people at all levels
- Strong leadership and management skills combined with a proven ability to lead, mentor and develop others
- Demonstrated skills and experience in repairing and maintaining buildings, plant and equipment
- Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Tertiary or vocational qualification in relevant field, or progress towards (desirable)
- Medium rigid vehicle licence (desirable)
- Working at heights licence (desirable)
- Working in confined spaces licence (desirable)
