As a heavy vehicle technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fire appliances and associated equipment. This includes ensuring that all vehicles are in good working order and that any necessary repairs or replacements are made in a timely manner.
The Fleet Operations team leads fleet mechanical services and scheduled vehicle inspections to meet regulatory requirements. The Fleet Maintenance team ensures repairs and maintenance across the fleet to meet operational and organisational objectives.
This role requires a qualified Heavy Diesel Technician or similar (light vehicle and auto electricians also considered). You will provide after-hours on-call service for urgent maintenance and repairs of fire appliances and heavy vehicles.
