Job Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our emergency response team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. The role is challenging yet rewarding, providing an opportunity to make a tangible impact on community safety and well-being.
The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner. This will involve operating specialist firefighting and rescue equipment, as well as contributing to community education activities and developing competencies through regular training courses.
As a member of our team, you will be expected to maintain high standards of attendance and performance, while also upholding the organization's shared values of respect, integrity, trust, courage, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Manual C Class driver's licence
- Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station
