Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to oversee the operations of two co-located residential aged care facilities. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership for both facilities, managing a team of experienced professionals and driving quality improvement initiatives.


About the Role
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the two facilities, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care is delivered consistently.
  • Directly manage two Clinical Care Managers, supporting them to deliver exceptional care outcomes.
  • Contribute to shaping the organisation's culture, strategy, and long-term success as part of the Executive Team.
  • Play a key role in organisational reform, driving innovation, compliance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Resident-Centred Care: Ensure services meet the highest standards of safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
  2. Leadership & Culture: Inspire and empower teams, fostering accountability and a positive workplace culture.
  3. Performance & Compliance: Oversee quality standards, clinical governance, and Aged Care Quality Standards compliance.
  4. Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations across both facilities.
  5. Financial & Resource Management: Lead budget planning, contract oversight, and efficient resource use.
  6. Safety & Wellbeing: Drive a culture of safety for staff, residents, volunteers, and visitors.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A business, management or related tertiary qualification.
  • Demonstrated success in senior leadership within residential aged care services.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic growth and sustainability.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to balance financial performance with resident care outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care funding models, policy, accreditation, and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive experience in operational planning, human resources, financial management, and clinical governance.
