Senior Relationship Manager, Development Finance

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for provisioning tailored lending solutions for experienced real estate developers operating in the greater Sydney metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities- Leading the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence.
- Managing approval processes, documentation, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
- Leading, coaching and providing development opportunities for junior team members to allow the achievement of current and future objectives.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in implementing sales, service, operational, process, and credit quality initiatives.
- Representing Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders to advance knowledge and expertise.
- Extensive experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance.
- Strong direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-centric focus.
- Ability to drive business strategies, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Established networks to provide new to bank opportunities and support business growth.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or property economics (highly regarded).
