Policy Development Specialist

The role involves the development, implementation and monitoring of domestic and family violence policies, programs and reforms.
This is a senior position in policy and projects that requires significant experience in policy development and project management. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in systems thinking, design thinking and stakeholder engagement.
- Evaluating and optimising existing DFV program and service responses
- Investigating, optimising and reforming DFV responses across the justice system, specialist support services for DFV victim-survivors, and inter-agency DFV responses such as Safer Pathway
- Improving key service enablers, including information sharing, risk assessment, and referrals
To be successful in this role you will need:
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Significant experience in policy development and project management
- Strong skills and experience in systems thinking, design thinking, and stakeholder engagement
