Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 - $113,574.00 – $125,720.00 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Make an Impact – Support Women's Safety Across NSW. The Office of the Women's Safety Commissioner (OWSC) is looking for a motivated and capable Policy and Projects Officer to join our Policy & Programs team. This is an opportunity to contribute to whole-of-government reforms that improve women's safety and wellbeing, aligned with the NSW Domestic and Family Violence Plan, the NSW Sexual Violence Plan, and the Women's Safety Commissioner's Strategic Plan.
What You'll Do- Coordinate and contribute to policy initiatives and projects that support the Women's Safety Commissioner's priorities.
- Undertake research and analysis on issues relating to women's safety.
- Communicate complex policy information in accessible ways, including speeches, reports, briefs and presentations.
- Provide project management support from scoping through to delivery and evaluation.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement across OWSC, DCJ, and whole-of-government to ensure collaborative outcomes.
- Balance proactive project-based work with fast-paced, reactive policy priorities.

What We're Looking For- Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor policy content for different audiences.
- Experience with project management processes including planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Flexibility and prioritisation skills to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of current and emerging issues in women's safety (policy experience in this field highly regarded).
