">Policy and Projects Leader

The Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a highly skilled Policy and Projects Leader to join their team. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that support the safety and well-being of victims of domestic and family violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ">
  • Develop and implement complex policy and program reforms, including identifying issues, developing solutions, and managing stakeholders
  • Provide strategic program management and support for state-wide domestic and family violence programs
  • Test, refine, and implement the Central Information Point (CARAS) to ensure victim-survivors receive a safe and consistent response across the NSW service sector
  • Develop and enhance DV Notify in collaboration with stakeholders using a human-centred design thinking approach
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Significant experience in policy and reform development and implementation, project management, and program management
  • Strong skills and experience in systems thinking, policy development, reform, and implementation, project management, program management, and design thinking
