Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Transformation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be accountable for a portfolio of investments and initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

You will act as the primary resource for the investment council, steering committee, and senior executives for communications and reporting the state and performance of initiatives within the portfolio.

You will analyze and evaluate data to ensure an optimized mix of project investments, making the best possible use of all resources, and delivering the maximum value and benefits from projects and initiatives within the portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to governance functions relating to the portfolio.
  • Management of all aspects of the portfolio including demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programs.
  • Portfolio categories and criteria.
  • Evaluation, selection, and prioritization.
  • Execution, tracking, and measuring achieved results.
  • Conduct reviews with senior business and IT leaders and governance bodies to validate and assess the project portfolio.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across project and delivery management, with a focus on organizational transformation activity.
  • 3+ years of experience as a portfolio manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams.
  • Ability to develop portfolios and deliver them against financial and resource constraints.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate the portfolio objectives and maintain alignment with business strategy.
