
Strategic Procurement Specialist

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes and delivering procurement advice to stakeholders. The successful candidate will oversee the entire account payable process, including invoice receipt, verification, and payment processing.
- The Contract and Procurement Manager will negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure appropriate terms for our organization.
- They will review and assess current and potential contracts and their financial impact on the organization.
- Financial risk associated with contracts will be identified and mitigated.
- Contract compliance will be ensured with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Collaboration with the Finance team will contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Contract performance will be monitored to manage costs effectively and stay within budgetary constraints.
- Reports and analysis related to contracts will be prepared for management review and decision-making.
- Vendor and supplier relationships will be managed from a financial perspective.
- The administrative aspects of contracts will be overseen, including contract documentation, storage, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Continuous review and improvement of contract management processes and procedures will be undertaken.
- Fleet vehicle acquisition, leasing, and disposal will be managed in alignment with organizational goals.
- Fleet performance metrics will be monitored, and issues addressed or service levels improved by working with the Fleet Coordinator.
