About Our Team Lead Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Procurement Team Lead to join our close-knit team. This strategic role will lead procurement initiatives, manage a diverse and dynamic work environment, and provide opportunities for growth and development.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional safety practices, commitment, and attitude.
  • Team Development: Participate in the development and implementation of functional team KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead process re-engineering and SOP implementation within the department.
  • Mentorship: Mentor, guide, and support the Procurement Team in their daily activities and professional development.
  • Order Verification: Verify and validate purchase orders in line with the business delegation of authority matrix.
  • Order Management: Lead supplier order management, including expediting/rescheduling, tracking DIFOT performance, and conducting supplier audits.
About You:
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing KPIs.
  • Experience with driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to re-engineer processes and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong skills in verifying and validating purchase orders.
  • Proficient in supplier management, including expediting/rescheduling, managing DIFOT performance, and conducting audits.
