Strategic Event Manager for the University of New South Wales

We are seeking an experienced Program Curator to join our team at the University of New South Wales. As a key member of our Strategic Events leadership team, you will play a crucial part in shaping the University's internal and external event programs as well as the related digital content.
About the Role:
- Curate and design large events, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure a best-in-class experience for attendees;
- Mentor speakers/academics, write promotional copy and develop scripts;
- Manage multiple projects/deadlines and operational impacts, ensuring timely delivery with efficient use of resources;
- Build and sustain effective collaborative professional relationships and partnerships;
- Develop and curate events and programs with a creative flair and know-how;
Your Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience working as a curator in tertiary education, events, media, arts or equivalent competence;
- Proven ability in mentoring speakers/academics and managing multiple projects;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong written and verbal ability;
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing and publicity for an events program;
- Ability to manage a team and implement effective workflow and people management strategies.
