The Role Overview

You will be responsible for providing essential clerical services, including maintaining electronic and hard copy health records, managing databases and information systems, filing and photocopying, and ordering stationery. Additionally, you will communicate with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required, all while adhering to Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence, and Staff-in-Confidence standards.

To Be Successful in This Position

  • You will possess the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • You should have a minimum of 1 year full-time experience in an Administrative role (or part-time equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a customer service-focused environment is desirable.
  • You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.

About Robertson Health Centre

Robertson Health Centre is situated on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, approximately 15km east of Darwin. It serves as home to the 1st Brigade and 1st Aviation Regiment, with a routine dependency of around 2800 members, including a large reserve component. The facility also accommodates approximately 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, as well as operating a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally from 07:30 to 15:30 Monday through Friday.

We are seeking an individual who has experience working in a clinical support role and enjoys knowing their work contributes to positive health outcomes for patients. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to easily communicate with internal staff and external customers, and your team knows you're willing to go the extra mile to help out wherever needed. You understand the importance of accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment and take pride in being responsible for this. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing clinical support services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$65,000 - AU$85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
