Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality psychological services to clients referred to us, including assessment, treatment, and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical services to clients, including psychological assessments and treatments;
  • Compiling comprehensive assessment reports, evaluative reports, treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client case notes and records;
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our clients;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices in clinical psychology and applying this knowledge in your work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Provisional or full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia;
  • Registration with AHPRA;
  • Medicare Provider Number or eligibility to obtain one;
  • Experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds, parents, and agencies supporting children in their development;
  • A thorough knowledge of childhood development and factors that may interfere with maximization of developmental potential;
  • The ability and initiative to work autonomously while being part of a clinical team;
  • An NT Working with Children/OCHRE card.
