About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Customer and Digital division at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis function to support the achievement of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making and drive financial performance.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the Financial Planning and Analysis team, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to executive leadership and other stakeholders to inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial planning and analysis processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in business partnering and leadership.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
