About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at Perigon Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving financial planning and analysis across core functions, collaborating with business leaders, finance teams, and external partners to deliver strategic insights for both immediate and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the annual financial planning process, ensuring alignment between the financial plan and enterprise budget.
  • Oversee the integration and tracking of key performance indicators within the Enterprise Scorecard, in partnership with Strategy and Data Governance.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for consolidated companywide and Joint Venture budgets and forecasts, with a focus on continuous process and tool optimisation.
  • Conduct financial analysis and trend evaluations to provide actionable insights on budget assumptions to senior management.
  • Enhance the team's application of accounting standards to financial models, while developing advanced budgeting and forecasting strategies.
  • Lead the development and presentation of financial challenge packs for the Board and coordinate budget submissions to Government/Treasury.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with stakeholder regulations.
  • Coordinate responses to financial inquiries from senior management, the Board, and government entities.
About You

We are looking for a CA/CPA/CIMA qualified FP&A professional with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, decision support, financial modelling and business systems. Ideally, you should have experience in infrastructure, energy, mining, or a similar sector, along with strong team leadership skills. You're looking to develop and grow your skill base in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment. You'll also have outstanding communication & stakeholder management skills.
