Real Estate Valuer Opportunity

The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is seeking up to six Graduate Real Estate Valuers to join their Rating & Taxing valuations team.

As a Graduate Real Estate Valuer, you will develop skills to become a qualified Valuer and upon conclusion of the graduate program may be successful in obtaining Associate membership with the Australian Property Institute.

The 24-month program will see graduates experience up to four work rotations of up to six months each with different teams within Value NSW, which may include Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions and Special Valuations.

  • Develop skills to become a qualified Valuer
  • Experience various teams within Value NSW
  • Gain knowledge of relevant legislation and policies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing professional, expert and authoritative property and valuation information and technical expertise
  • Undertaking and assisting with valuing every parcel of land in NSW
  • Determining appropriate compensation for land and interests subject to compulsory acquisition on behalf of the Valuer General
