Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading and delivering projects across various assets. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for scoping, planning, scheduling, and managing approved projects.


The role involves collaborating with Engineering teams to commence project management, utilizing Amplify stage gates through to close out. This includes effective delivery of projects, budget management, resource allocation, outage management, permitting, site mobilization, and financial compliance.


Additionally, this position requires working closely with line managers and finance teams to ensure adherence to financial reporting requirements and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver projects within specified timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop project plans and manage resources
  • Accountable for project outcomes, including time, cost, and quality
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular project updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong background in project management, preferably in the energy industry. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is highly desirable.


Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on construction projects
  • Strong technical expertise in project management disciplines, including risk management, quality assurance, and Earned Value Management
  • Ability to work within key AS/NZ/ISO documents, such as PMBOK, AS/NZ/ISO 31000 Risk Management, and AS/NZ/ISO 10006 Quality Management systems Projects
  • A certification from the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is highly desirable
