About the Job

This role is focused on overseeing and delivering projects effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, managing budgets, and maintaining high-quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scoping, planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to deliver projects that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective project management processes and improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with Procurement partners to develop strategic procurement plans and negotiate favorable contracts.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in project management principles, practices, and methodologies.


  • Tertiary qualification or extensive experience in project management of construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in project management disciplines, including risk management, quality management, and earned value management.
  • A certification from the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in supervising multiple construction or refurbishment projects, including new build, site upgrades, fit-out projects, and contractor management.
  • Strong understanding of financial and risk management principles, with ability to create a sense of need to achieve organizational goals.
