Fleet Sales Manager Role OverviewThis role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and expand our fleet presence by building strong relationships with corporate and government clients.Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and market share objectives. This involves partnering with regional managers, dealerships, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver results-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fleet sales, commercial acumen, and the ability to negotiate and build long-term relationships. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for managing corporate clients and dealer stakeholders.

This role requires a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales growth, expanding our fleet presence, and maintaining strong relationships with key partners.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing short- and long-term fleet sales strategies to achieve annual sales and market share objectives.
  • Partnering with regional managers and dealerships to drive business development within local markets.
  • Prospecting and securing new fleet clients through direct engagement, dealer networks, and strategic partnerships.
  • Managing tender and RFP submissions with compelling product value propositions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns promoting our fleet offering.
  • Working with financial services providers to leverage leasing and finance opportunities.
  • Supporting and coaching dealer fleets to enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, or a related field (desirable).
  • 10+ years' experience in fleet sales, business development, or a related automotive role.
  • Strong background in fleet and FMO sales with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and build long-term business relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in managing corporate clients and dealer stakeholders.
