Electrical Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join our Electrical Process Maintenance team at Boddington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment used in large industrial processing environments.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement maintenance plans, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, acts, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, manuals, and reports.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Relevant experience in electrical instrumentation maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
- C class manual drivers licence.
- Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation.
- Understanding of Defect Elimination principles and its application.
- Understanding of Maintenance Work Management Processes complete with use of CMMS (i.e. SAP or similar).
- High Voltage Switching certificate with High Voltage experience.
- High Risk Licence for forklift and EWP.
- Unit of competency in confined space and working at heights.
