About the job:

Our French bakery is seeking a Store Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the retail store manager, building and training a high-performing team, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the retail store manager with daily operations and team management

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction

• Provide coaching and training to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment that meets all health and safety regulations

• Manage cash handling and banking operations, ensuring accurate records and adherence to company policies

• Oversee store presentation, including displays and visual merchandising, to create an engaging shopping experience

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services

• Collaborate with the retail store manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and customer retention goals

• Participate in recruitment and selection processes to identify top talent for the team

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve store performance and customer engagement

• Other duties as assigned by the retail store manager or other senior leaders

 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a retail or food service environment

• Strong understanding of customer needs and preferences

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
