Role Summary

We are seeking a part-time, casual Learning Facilitator - Games and Software Engineering in Sydney. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences that integrate industry practice into the curriculum.

  • Deliver Engaging Course Content: Develop and deliver course content that aligns with industry needs and standards;
  • Implement Authentic Assessment Strategies: Design and implement authentic assessment strategies that reflect real-world scenarios;
  • Collaborate on Academic Programs: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain academic programs that meet industry demands;
  • Support Student Success: Engage with students, providing guidance and support to ensure their success;
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance processes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in higher education, specifically in the field of Games and Software Engineering;
  • Expertise in C#, Open GL/Web GL/graphics programming, discrete math and analytic geometry, Unity/Unreal Engine;
  • Previous teaching experience and good industry connections;
  • Postgraduate qualifications related to Games or Software Engineering;
  • A demonstrated track record of high-quality research outcomes;
  • Evidence of research applicable to industry or in collaboration with industry partners;
  • A Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (desirable).
