Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our support team as Named Support Engineers, Dedicated Support Experts, or Solutions Support Specialists.

This role involves working closely with customers to provide expert-level technical assistance and guidance on optimizing their software environments.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of complex software systems and be able to effectively communicate technical information to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support incidents.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer environments and implementation details.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Leverage advanced technical expertise to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Provide timely updates on ongoing incidents and offer best practices for minimizing operational risks.
  • Conduct regular supportability assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Offer technical mentoring to enhance customer knowledge and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop strategic plans for upgrading and migrating software systems.
  • Provide guidance on maximizing the features and functionality of OpenText solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or associate degree holder with 10+ years' experience in customer support.
  • Proven track record in in-depth technical troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of NetIQ Access Manager (NAM), NetIQ Identity Manager (IDM), eDirectory, Red Hat, and RDBMS systems.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations.
