Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Portsmith, Cairns.
- This is a full-time, permanent position with Monday to Friday work hours.
- Overtime opportunities will be offered on a needs-basis.
- You must hold a valid LF Forklift License.
- Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
- You must demonstrate a safety-first approach and consistently adhere to WHS practices and procedures.
- You will follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss, and incident reporting processes.
- Loading and unloading general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner is a key responsibility.
- You will handle freight items manually and safely as required.
- You will learn and operate RF scanner devices.
- Accurately sorting and loading freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy is crucial.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid Forklift License.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The capacity to follow instructions and work autonomously when required.
- Full rights to work in Australia.
- A strong focus on safety.
