Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team for projects in the Cairns and surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Asphalt Industry, Civil Construction, and Road Maintenance. You must be willing to work night shifts and remotely if required.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and operate heavy equipment, such as excavators and bulldozers.
- Work around bulk earthworks and services.
- Assist with site labor tasks where needed.
- Undertake daily pre-start checks and regular vehicle maintenance.
- CURRENT HR driving licence is essential.
- Relevant Machinery Tickets are necessary.
- Australian White Card is required.
- Effective time management and workload prioritization skills are crucial.
- Full Australian working rights are mandatory.
- $36-$42 per hour (dependent on position).
- All applicable allowances covered.
- Weekends off (dependent on position).
