At BMD Urban, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Melbourne Region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a strong pipeline of projects and contribute to the delivery of civil works projects, land development, and subdivision projects.

About the Role

This role requires proven experience in the civil construction industry, with 3+ years of experience working on civil construction projects ranging in value. The ideal candidate will have experience with reputable local contractors and exposure to civil works projects, land development, and subdivision projects.

We are looking for a self-starter who is committed to ongoing learning and high performance. As a Heavy Equipment Operator at BMD Urban, you will be involved in cost forecasting, commercial reporting, and liaising with project team members and subcontractors to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Contribute to the delivery of civil works projects, land development, and subdivision projects
  • Liaise with project team members and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes
