Job Overview

As a Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in the success of the auction. Reporting to the Yard Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking in/out consigned equipment for auction
  • Using an auction listing to arrange equipment display and managing yard presentation
  • Driving and operating a range of equipment, from light to heavy machinery
  • Performing facility inspections, basic equipment maintenance, and yard housekeeping
  • Assisting with equipment setup, including basic assembly and washing for display standards
  • Operating forklifts to load/unload equipment and manage equipment keys
  • Preparing the yard for auction day by setting up signage, flags, and receptacles

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with a focus on yard or equipment management, hold a forklift license, and possess strong skills in equipment operation.

You will also need to have high attention to detail for maintenance, organization, and customer service, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift and move equipment as needed.

We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $33 plus penalties.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with a leader in asset management and auctions, with potential for additional work based on client needs and performance.
