About the Role

We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our People and Culture team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will proactively support and promote a culture of learning, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The Training Specialist will facilitate the delivery and assessment of accredited and non-accredited training and development programs to internal and external stakeholders in the metropolitan and regional areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training plans to improve and drive training compliance in Victoria and Tasmania;
  • Identify, develop, and deliver training programs in an online and offline capacity;
  • Develop and maintain various training manuals as needed;
  • Coordinate, create, and implement the digitalization of learning and training content;
  • Provide regular reports and develop cyclical reporting metrics;
  • Create a training matrix, conduct a training needs analysis to identify training gaps, provide direct training prospects;
  • Engage, coach, and support leaders to facilitate and implement learning initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with a background in a large-scale workforce environment (blue-collar experience will be beneficial);
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment;
  • Excellent facilitation skills, both online and face-to-face, to frontline operations teams;
  • A proven ability to build strong and effective interpersonal relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Self-driven and ability to manage own schedule with conflicting priorities;
  • Full Australian working rights;
  • Willing to undergo police check and other pre-employment checks;
  • Open to interstate and intrastate travel in VIC and TAS.
