Our team currently has an opening for a Sentinel Leader - Performance Excellence, responsible for delivering strategic growth initiatives, developing business in synergy with core and new markets, managing key accounts, enhancing customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities.

Reporting to the Regional Head of Commercial Operations, you will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, foster strong connections with internal stakeholders, drive sales performance, and contribute to market analysis.

">

You will excel in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive under pressure. Your role requires adaptability, commercial acumen, solution-based selling skills, and ability to work autonomously while being part of a cohesive unit.

Your Key Responsibilities:

">

- Manage key principal portfolios, serve as primary contact, and implement effective commercial strategies at customer, market, and supplier levels.

">

- Collaborate closely with functional managers to plan and execute sales and marketing activities.

">

- Provide leadership, direction, and focus to the commercial team.

">

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with major stakeholders in the polyurethane, plastics, and rubber sectors, including direct management of key principals and/or customers.

">

- Support account management for Brand Owner.

">

- Coordinate sales and product strategic alignment between Principal, customer, and market.

">

- Oversee pricing and contract negotiations, stock levels, credit terms, and debtor management.

">

- Offer technical support and product training to relevant commercial teams.

">

- Align Principal strategies and marketing activities strategically.

">

- Foster and maintain strong Principal relationships.

">

- Meet budget targets set by the organization.

">

- Oversee Country financial performance of the Business Unit.

">

- Lead the commercial team in setting and achieving regionally agreed budgeted sales and gross margin targets.

">

Your Profile:

">

- Bachelor's degree in a related field with postgraduate qualifications.

">

- Minimum 10+ years' experience in polyurethane, plastics, and rubber industries, with significant time spent in commercial roles.

">

- Minimum 5 years' managerial experience leading commercial teams with evidenced sales results and service excellence outcomes.

">

- Working knowledge and experience in the chemical industry (raw materials) is advantageous.

">

- Familiarity with SAP and MRP systems is preferred.

">

- Proven track record of leading change, improving engagement, and delivering results.

">

- Results-driven with strong solution-based selling skills.

">

- Strong commercial and business acumen with demonstrated strategic agility.

">

- Proven leadership skills with ability to coach, develop, mentor, and inspire.

">

- Must have a continuous improvement and customer excellence mindset.

">

- Agile, highly collaborative, and early adopter mindset.

">

- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
