We design and construct critical infrastructure for the water and power sectors.

From wastewater treatment plants to power stations, our designs cover various assets including power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment plans, and water pipelines.

The role of an Environmental Advisor is pivotal in ensuring site works adhere to best practice while maintaining compliance with ISO 14001 standards.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) to meet client requirements
  • Providing environmental training and inductions on relevant issues to staff and subcontractors
  • Supporting weed inspections and washdowns of plant and equipment as required by clients and legislation
  • Monitoring sediment and erosion control measures
  • Reviewing subcontractors' EMPS, procedures, records, and activities

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management, along with previous experience in environmental management in a construction environment.

A strong working knowledge of QLD and Federal environmental legislation, auditing experience, database, word processing, and spreadsheet skills are essential.
