As a Senior Network Planning Engineer, you will plan and deliver economic and strategic solutions to keep the network and the communities and businesses it serves ahead in a rapidly changing energy landscape.

  • Comprehensive planning processes are used to assess network capabilities (long & short-term), emerging issues, and identify limitations.
  • Planning for augmentation of the network with Rapid Earth Fault Current Limiter technology is also included.
  • Lead Distribution Loss Factors, fault level forecasts, and development plans for High Voltage and Low Voltage networks are crucial aspects of this role.

Key qualifications include relevant qualification and experience in Engineering, contemporary electricity network planning, asset management practices, and software proficiency.

The ideal candidate has a sound knowledge of National Electricity Rules, primary plant, network protection, and control devices.
