The Community Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with local councils and community groups to collect and analyze data, ensuring that our organization can provide the right services to the right people when they need it. Key Responsibilities
  • Project management of residential, community facility and hub projects during the planning stages and collaboration with others involved in capital and service planning and delivery to create efficiencies and improved community outcomes.
  • Developing community infrastructure planning processes and monitoring an integrated planning approach.
  • Providing specialist advice on residential and community facility provision, capital investment options and other related place-based planning and project delivery approaches.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in social policy, urban planning, geography or economics, or a related field supported by relevant practical work experience in project management of community infrastructure projects.
  • NDIS Screening Workers Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
  • Proven experience leading community facilities planning projects and influencing evidence-based decisions regarding social infrastructure planning.
  • Relevant experience in project management, stakeholder management, policy development and change-management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including demographic analysis, needs analysis and community engagement practices.
