About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to join our team at Perpetual Wealth Management. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall procurement strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate high-value contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Oversee and continuously improve procurement processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, manage procurement budgets, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years managing indirect sourcing mainly for IT services and other procurement categories.
  • 7+ years managing vendor strategy and commercial management for IT vendors.
  • Solid background in IT & financial services organisation, in a commercial management role.
  • Property management experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

What We Offer:

  • An annual salary of approximately AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 depending on experience.
