Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store leadership, you will play a vital role in driving sales, profit and growth through effective leadership, customer focus and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in increasing performance to achieve targets, contributing to all aspects of the store including serving customers and stacking shelves, assisting the Store Manager with the training and development of the team, ordering and maintaining stock availability, and ensuring the health and safety of all Team Members and customers are met.

About the Role
  • Assist the Store Manager in driving business growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to the success of the store by serving customers and achieving sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve store operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to achieve business objectives.
  2. Contribute to the maintenance of high standards of customer service and sales performance.
  3. Assist with the recruitment, training and development of new staff members.
  4. Ensure accurate stock management and control procedures are followed at all times.
  5. Monitor and report on store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
