Your key responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the home, overseeing the delivery of quality care services to residents, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Ensuring sustainable growth of the home through AN-ACC funding, care planning, and community engagement.
* Continual audit and review of all care home activities to ensure effective risk management and compliance standards are met.
* Active and timely management of resident and family complaints and incidents.
* Participating in the reaccreditation and compliance of the home.
* Managing finances and budgets (wage and non-wage expense).
* Optimising the home's roster, which maintains the retention of staff and employee engagement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Proven leadership experience in the service industry, retail, home care, and aged care. Aged care is desirable, but not essential.
* Extensive experience managing dynamic rosters and large front-line workforces.
* The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead the Care Home team effectively by setting clear expectations, providing direction, and fostering a positive work environment.
* Financial acumen, with proficiency in managing budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
* Operational excellence, with knowledge of day-to-day operations and the ability to streamline processes for efficiency across the Care Home.
* Relationship skills, with expertise in managing relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
