About the Role:

  • Assist in preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other meal services for residents.
  • Ensure high-quality meal presentation and service.
  • Participate in maintaining safe and hygienic working practices in the kitchen.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and hospitality areas.
  • Support residents with meals and refreshments.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and bulk food preparation.
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Working knowledge of food safety programs or applicable experience (desirable).
  • Experience in kitchen hygiene practices and work health and safety requirements.
  • Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Appreciation for working with seniors and diverse populations.
  • Valid National Police check (specific to aged care work).
