About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Support: Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Transport: Safely transport clients to appointments and social events.
  • Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and errands.
  • Medication Administration: Assist clients with medication management and administration.
  • Respite Care: Provide temporary care and support to clients and their families.
  • Socialisation: Encourage social interaction and engagement among clients.
  • Other Support Tasks: Perform other tasks as required to support clients' needs.
Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care/Home & Community): A highly desirable qualification for this role.
  • Australian Driver's Licence: A must-have for safe transportation of clients.
  • Motor Vehicle: A reliable vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance is required.
  • Mobile Phone: A smartphone is necessary for communication and documentation.
  • Medication Skill Set: A highly desirable skill for medication administration.
  • Experience in Aged Care: Previous experience in delivering care outcomes for older people is highly desirable.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
