Job Title: Food Operations Director

 

About the Role:

Our organization seeks an accomplished and experienced Food Operations Director to oversee daily operations in our community's dining areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high food quality standards, and providing a warm and welcoming environment for residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate all activities in the community's dining areas, including meal functions and banquet events.
  • Daily Operations Management: Meet or exceed hospitality and service standards in all dining areas, including greeting residents and guests, and assisting with requests and suggestions.
  • Service Procedures Supervision: Establish and manage clearing procedures in all dining areas to minimize breakage and food waste.
  • Food Presentation and Service Evaluation: Assess food presentation and service in all service delivery areas.
  • Event Coordination: Communicate requirements to all respective departments.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience and Education: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of food service supervisory experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Certifications and Training: Food Handler certification required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills for email and report development, and ability to provide and supervise food service to meet or exceed hospitality and service standards.
