
Strategic Payroll Leader

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our payroll function in a key role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 9, overseeing the entire payroll process, including payroll specific projects. They will also lead process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to legislative requirements in respect of PAYG, FBT, and payroll tax.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the payroll team, providing guidance and support to achieve excellent results.
- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures.
- Oversee the entire payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize payroll operations.
Requirements:
- Significant Australian payroll experience from within a large, corporate payroll function.
- At least 3 years' management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
