
Strategic Payroll Process Analyst

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our payroll processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and document current processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
About the Role:
This is a 6-month project-based position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, and a proven track record in payroll system implementation. As a strategic thinker, you will work closely with our business leaders to drive process improvements and ensure seamless transitions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization's operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- 2. Develop and implement new business processes related to Definitiv.
- 3. Gain a deep understanding of the new payroll platform.
- 4. Design and deliver engaging training sessions to employees on new payroll processes and system functionalities.
- 5. Elicit, document, and refine business requirements.
- 6. Provide clear and structured business process documentation using Visio or similar tools.
- 7. Be adaptable and sensitive to change, helping to guide the business through this transition in coordination with key stakeholders.
- 8. Quickly build trust with the business and establish strong working relationships.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- A proven experience in payroll system implementation
- Strong ability to map business processes and document requirements
- Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio or similar
- A natural trainer and confident presenter, able to educate users at all levels
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to capture and document unstructured business knowledge
- Adaptable, empathetic, and skilled at managing change in a business transformation setting
