We're seeking a skilled Insurance Claims Negotiator to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our claims team, you'll play a critical role in securing better than industry claim outcomes for our customers.

About the Role:

  • Represent Allianz at settlement conferences and contribute to achieving exceptional claim outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for early and effective settlement negotiations, ensuring fair outcomes for all customers.
  • Apply expert-level negotiation practices to settlement processes and mentor claims staff.
  • Support the Long Tail business in accurately assessing entitlement and risk, working with individuals and teams to advise on and facilitate effective negotiations.
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused, commercially oriented settlement advice and action.
  • Offer specialist support and advice on technical and legal information to local claims teams.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Insurance/financial services, with a strong background in the QLD CTP personal injury sector.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying legislation, legal principles, and guidelines, with a strong understanding of legal processes and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Extensive technical experience in personal injury claims business, with a proven ability to develop successful claims strategies.
  • Sound business acumen, business planning, and data management experience.
