Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-quality administrative support to the Patient Services team at Flinders And Upper North Local Health Network. This role will involve providing confidential and customer-focused administrative services to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Patient Services team, including data entry, correspondence, and filing.
  • Assist with the coordination of patient services, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve business objectives and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
Working Conditions

This is a casual contract position, working 24/7 shift roster. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
