About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the University of New South Wales. In this vital role, you will provide effective day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Centre's operations, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, including partners and consortium members.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Centre's leadership team, including preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Manage and coordinate events, conferences, and meetings, including logistics, catering, and audio-visual arrangements.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management and compliance strategies to ensure the Centre's operations are aligned with University policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as business administration or management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant training.
