Performing Arts Administrator

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team in the Performing Arts department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist with coordinating cocurricular programs and events, including excursions, Eisteddfod, competitions, concerts and Music Camp.
  • Liaise with staff regarding music ensembles and requirements for school functions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize concerts/theatre productions, including rehearsal schedules, stage management plans, equipment lists and IT requirements.
  • Develop and maintain performance photographs and videos of performances for promotional use.
  • Represent the Performing Arts department at Open Mornings, Preview Day, Orientations.

**Administrative Tasks:**

  • Serve as first point of contact for the Performing Arts Department at required events and functions.
  • Communicate effectively with parents as required.
  • Support performing arts staff with administrative duties when needed.
  • Coordinate lists and rolls in liaison with music and drama staff.
  • Facilitate communication between departments regarding event logistics.

**Personal Qualities Required:**

  • Possess advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products and other computer-based tools.
  • Be an effective communicator and a positive, flexible team player.
  • Be able to multitask and problem solve efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the performing arts and excellent organizational skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
