Exciting Role Opportunity

The City of Parramatta is a progressive and diverse community with 260,000 residents. Our city has a thriving business district and a vibrant arts scene.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our programming team at Riverside Theatres Parramatta. This role will involve coordinating venue hire and bookings, working closely with clients, and supporting the delivery of business and booking services internally and externally.

About the Job

This position is responsible for managing Riverside Theatres' Venue Hire and Bookings program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating venue bookings and arrangements
  • Assisting the Program Manager in delivering business and booking services
  • Liaising with clients, including production companies, promoters, contractors, community groups, government agencies, and business organizations
  • Managing records and reports of the venue booking system
  • Supporting the development and promotion of Riverside Theatres as a centre of excellence in performing arts, events, and exhibitions in Western Sydney region

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in an Arts or Business related discipline, or extensive relevant experience
  • Extensive and relevant experience in live performance venues and/or event exhibition industries, working with professional and community-based organizations
  • Advanced experience in an arts and creative industries environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to maintain effective interpersonal and professional relationships

Benefits

We offer an attractive total remuneration package from $74,228 to $81,746 plus 10.5% superannuation. Additional benefits include flexible work arrangements, paid parental leave, access to Long Service Leave after 5 years, and significant leave benefits.
